den platz auf der setlist von radio mellingtone verdankt "thuringian daybreak" sicher seiner in fast zwei jahren arbeit entstandenen musikalischen substanz. mit dem neuen arrangement ist es aber auch eine reminiszenz von andreas grüneberg und michael a. schnase an mehr als sechs jahre gemeinsamen musizierens mit dem jenaer songschreiber, gitarristen und sänger dirk hübel. das stück fängt die stimmung an der schwelle eines neuen tages irgendwo im "grünen herzen deutschlands" ein und spannt den emotionalen bogen zum lebensgefühl eines thüringers, der seine heimat erst in der fremde kennen - und lieben gelernt hat.
