pearls on a thread ist ein stück, dass auf eine idee von bernd leiendecker für eine harmoniefolge unter dem arbeitrstitel "anna´s song" zurückgeht, die ich von beginn an sehr schön und inspirierend fand. so begannen wir -zunächst zu zweit - über den harmonien zu experimentiern, und es entstanden nach und nach - wie perlen, die man auf einen faden zieht, weitere bausteine, wie der text, die gesangsmelodie und das gitarrensolo für das outro. mitterweile war aus dem arbeitstitel "anna`s song" der songtitel "perlen auf einem faden" geworden, was nicht nur den text betitelt, sonder auch die entstehung des stücks in ein schönes bild setzt.
